Other Specialty Contact Lenses

We also provide the following specialty contact lenses:

Synergetic is but one lens we provide. We also fit scleral contact lenses as well as custom RGP (rigid gas permeable) lenses for astigmatism and presbyopia.

The newest lens that will be available at our clinic is the first therapeutic contact lens made by Johnson and Johnson. It is an antihistamine releasing contact lens to help with the treatment of ocular allergies. We will be able to fit this lens from mid-January.

Acuvue Transition lenses: These are lenses that will darken when exposed to sunlight. They are great for sports.

Rigid Contact Lenses

Rigid contact lenses are great if you wish to keep them for longer, and not have to regularly throw out, and replace, your contacts. Rigid gas-permeable lenses are less commonly used because they take some getting used to, but they do generally offer better vision correction than soft lenses. Some people with specific prescriptions may be required to use this type. Ask if rigid contact lenses are right for you. Contact Optometrists Clinic Inc today.
